Mont-Saint-Michel, Manche
Dubbed "Wonder of the West", the Benedictine abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, on a rocky island between Normandy and Brittany, is one of the iconic spots in France and listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The abbey was built between the 11th and 16th century.
